Job Summary:
Our client, a leading company in the security industry. This pivotal role will support the finance team to manage, monitor and oversee the processes of billing / invoicing customers for services/ products provided and ensuring smooth and efficient operations that align with industry standards and company objectives. The Ideal candidate should be knowledgeable in financial Planning and Analysis and responsible for developing and implementing financial plans, budgets, and forecasts.
Key responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: You will be involving in the preparation and presentation of financial reports.
- Budget Management: You will be involved in the budgeting process, working closely with department heads to develop budgets, monitor spending, and ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines.
- Risk Management: As a senior finance officer, you will be responsible for identifying and mitigating financial risks faced by the organization.
- Compliance and Regulatory Reporting: You will ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and reporting requirements imposed by regulatory bodies.
- Financial Operations: You will involve in day-to-day financial operations, including managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, reviewing and approving financial transactions, monitoring cash flow, and ensuring accuracy in financial records.
- Team Management: If you are in a leadership role, you will be responsible for managing and supervising a team of finance professionals.

- Finance professional with a proven management experience within the security industry or a similar field
- Enthusiastic and committed approach with a track record of building strong, trust based relationships with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels, including the customer
- A sound working knowledge of finance best practices, an awareness of the dynamics of the external environment and its effects on business strategy
- Strong management and leadership skills together with excellent communication, influencing, negotiating and engagement skills, with a focus on pleasing the customers
- Focus upon the provision of quality services and products as a fundamental element of customer care and retention
- Excellent IT skills with a working knowledge of the range of MS Office packages and knowledge of online finance management systems.
- Sound judgment and decision-making skills, with a ‘hands on’, problem solving approach, able to remain calm under pressure and take control of incidents, pro-active and self-motivated
- Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently
- Excellent planning and organization skills to meet deadlines and pay attention to detail, with a consulting mindset

- Must be honest with a high level of integrity, vigilant and of sound judgment
- Conversant with EA taxes
- Experience in project accounting
- Conversant with computerized accounting software
Required qualifications/experience
- Bachelor’s degree in any business-related course.
- Professional management qualification, in addition to finance qualification e.g. ACCA, CPA
- At least (3) three years in a busy working environment at middle management level
- Working knowledge of multiple finance functions including budgeting, cost control, asset management.
