Job Summary
The Sales Supervisor will oversee field sales operations, ensuring strong product distribution, visibility, and sales performance across assigned territories.
Key Responsibilities
- Field Sales Management
- Supervise and support a team of sales representatives
- Set daily/weekly sales targets and track performance
- Conduct regular field visits to monitor execution
- Distribution & Market Coverage
- Ensure products are available in retail shops, supermarkets, and pharmacies
- Expand distribution network into new areas
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with logistics
- Merchandising & Brand Visibility
- Ensure proper product placement and visibility in stores
- Implement promotions and in-store marketing activities
- Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retailers
- Handle key accounts and resolve customer issues
- Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare sales reports and market feedback
- Track competitor activity and pricing trends
- Provide insights to management for decision-making
- Team Development
- Train and mentor sales representatives
- Enforce discipline and accountability within the team
Key Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- 3 – 5 year’s experience in sales, preferably FMCG
- Proven experience managing field sales teams
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet targets
