Our client is specialized in supply and apply Inspection and audit service for lifting equipment, tubular, rig equipment, in process inspection and pipeline baseline surveys.

Job Summary
Responsible for the operation of the crown platform, monkey board and other derrick areas, inspect and maintain the equipment and facilities on the derrick, lead the floorman to complete the work arranged by the driller (chief drilling engineer) and assist drilling engineer to complete the operations in the mud pump and mud pool area.

Key Responsibilities

• To daily check the derrick, crown block, mud pump room, monkey board.
• Responsible for weekly inspection and maintenance of derrick, crown block, travelling block, monkey board, pneumatic/hydraulic winch and other equipment, and make records.
• Be responsible for operating safely on the monkey board when tripping in/out drill string.
• Be responsible for inspecting, maintaining and lubricating derrick, crown block, traveling block, rotary table, manride hoister, air hoister, pipe rack of monkey board, hoister for pulling DC, stabbing board, drilling line, all hanging tugs, standpipe, swivel hose.
• To check and inspect pins and safety retaining pins on the substructure and derrick in place.
• Be responsible for leading floorman to running casing.
• Assist the mechanic and assistant driller to repair the equipment.
• Be responsible for accepting and performing the instructions from mud engineer, mixing mud as requested, meet the hole requirements
• BOP and wellhead. Bolts and nuts on BOP and choke & kill manifold are tight and lubricated.
• Check and Lubricate travelling block system and TDS, Check drilling line is in good order.
• As the master of Floor man (Ugandan), personally teach relevant operations and techniques, and lead Floor man to complete drilling and completion operations. In the first year, the relevant operations and technologies that need to be mastered in drilling operations are taught, and in the second year, the relevant operations and technologies that need to be mastered in well completion and well completion operations are taught. After 2 years, ensure that 80% of the floor man (Ugandans) can complete the relevant operations independently and are fully qualified for the floor man position.

 Required Qualifications and Skills

• College degree or above.
• Capable of starting and maintaining solid control equipment, judging and repairing mud pump faults
• 2 teams in each team (1 roughneck with 2 years oilfield practice and the other with 1 year oilfield practice.)
• Integrity, good conduct, honesty and self-discipline
