Job Description
Our client is seeking a skilled Design Solar Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in solar power design, particularly with microgrids, lithium battery integration, and medium voltage (MV) scope projects. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in comprehensive design packages, be adept with simulation software, and be familiar with Huawei equipment for solar installations. This role will be integral to developing high-quality, efficient, and sustainable solar solutions, from initial design through detailed implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and oversee microgrid systems incorporating lithium battery energy storage
solutions. - Utilize advanced simulation tools to model and analyze system performance for
maximum efficiency and reliability. - Create detailed plans for solar plant installations, including site layout, system
configuration, and electrical schematics. - Integrate Huawei inverters and other Huawei equipment effectively into solar power
designs, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance. - Collaborate with project management and field teams to ensure designs are
implemented accurately and meet all regulatory and client specifications. - Perform technical analysis and feasibility studies to ensure designs are cost-effective
and sustainable. - Keep up to date with industry advancements, technologies, and best practices in solar
and renewable energy solutions. - Lead and develop full design packages for solar power projects, including medium voltage (MV) scope.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or a related
field in teams. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in solar design engineering, with specific experience
- Full design packages, including MV scope
- Microgrid systems and lithium battery integration
- Detailed solar plant design and layout
- Simulation programs (e.g., PVSyst, Helioscope, or similar)
- Experience with Huawei inverters and equipment
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, PV design software, and other relevant engineering tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented approach.
